Hello, tell us about yourself
“Hello, my name is Angga Putra Wijaya. I’m 24 years old. I’m from Bali, Indonesia, but I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in culinary management at William Blue University Sydney. I’m really happy doing my study because this is my passion.”
What is self-care to you and when do you feel you need it the most?
“Self -care to me is not always about luxury treatment or something that cost money. It can be something simple, such as going to bed early, letting go of friends that give bad influence, eat healthy, and forgiving myself and understand that I’m worth it no matter what. The point is accepting who you are and always be grateful.
I think I need self-care the most when I feel like I’m losing my patient, when I’m in a bad mood, and when I realize I’m a bit off of my daily activities. I then will reflect on myself and do self-care.”
What is your favorite self-care ritual?
“Hmm I have a lot, actually. Recently, I’m interested in learning new language. I’m learning French now. I also love reading book by Paul Arden. Deep talk and sharing advice and support with friends are also my favorite self-care ritual. It’s cool you know, when you and your friend can support each other.”
Do you have a favorite inspirational quote and want to share it with us?
“Be good to people, even the shitty ones. Let the assholes be assholes, you’ll sleep better.”
