What is self-care? Self-care is an activity you do intentionally to make yourself feel good, content, and peaceful. You know you need self-care when the level of any of these three states are running low. Instead of letting them all drain away, you choose to step back and do something to refill them.
If you pay attention, you will notice that words can have a great influence on our feeling, beliefs, and behaviour.
Have you heard about drawing personal boundaries? Personal boundaries are the limits and rules we set for ourselves within relationships. An example of healthy boundaries is you can say “no” to others when you want to, but you still feel comfortable opening yourself up to have intimate and close relationships.
